Your path to ownership
The path to ownership through a franchise application typically follows a structured process designed by the franchisor to ensure the applicant is qualified and aligns with the brand’s values. Here’s a step-by-step outline:1. Initial inquiry
Fill out the inquiry form at the bottom of the page and we will reach out to schedule a call. You will also receive an email with information about the Aldea Franchise.
2. Receive and review the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)
After the initial phone screening, you will receive an FDD with detailed information about the franchise. Outlined in the document will be information about your financial requirements, obligations, and the franchise agreement. Review the FDD thoroughly, possibly with the help of a franchise attorney or consultant.
3. Complete franchise application
Submit a formal application with details about your financial status, professional background, and goals. Aldea will evaluate your qualifications, including credit score, net worth, and liquid capital.
4. Start the interview process
The Aldea team will interview you to discuss your application, vision, and fit with the brand. This will also be your chance to ask questions and ensure the franchise aligns with your goals.
5. Learn about Aldea
you’ll speak with Aldea team members about their experience, operations, and financial performance. Visit the San Francisco flagship store to better understand the business model.
6. Discovery Day
Attend an in-person or virtual “Discovery Day” at the flagship store headquarters to meet the corporate team, see operations, and finalize discussions.
7. Final review & franchise agreement (FA) signing
After mutual agreement, we will both sign the Aldea Franchise agreement. You will pay the initial franchise fee and other associated costs as outlined in the FDD.
8. Training and on-boarding
Complete required training programs provided by Aldea. Learn operational processes, marketing, and other business essentials.
9. Location selection & build-out
Work with the Aldea team to choose an approved location and set up the franchise space. Coordinate with vendors for the build-out, design, and equipment.
10. Launch / Grand opening
Conduct pre-opening marketing and hire staff. Open your franchise, often with support from the franchisor during the initial operations.
